The Hand Line

In the clear light of a dry season morning off Panama's Perlas Islands, "The Hand Line" honors the quiet mastery of traditional artisanal fishing. Al Sprague captures three fishermen relying on centuries-old technique as the soft early sun illuminates the surrounding tropical waters. This evocative reproduction of Sprague's 1996 oil painting brings a serene sense of Panamanian fishing history, calm focus, and timeless coastal beauty to your home.
